B.U.D.D.Y. CONNECT
Presence, Power, & Peer-Support
B.U.D.D.Y. Connect is a people-powered support system under the S.A.V.E. umbrella, pairing survivors with compassionate companions for encouragement, presence, and strength during their healing journey.

Whether you're walking into a courtroom or navigating everyday life after trauma, no one should have to go alone.

That’s why we created B.U.D.D.Y.
Being Understanding, Dependable, and Devoted to You.

Through this initiative, we match survivors with trained peer advocates who show up with heart. Our volunteers are not just companions — they’re steady hands, listening ears, and judgment-free allies committed to walking beside you.

Why is this so important?
For many survivors, isolation is often the quietest part of the trauma — the part that lingers even after the abuse has ended. B.U.D.D.Y. Connect was born from that truth. As a survivor myself, I know how powerful it is to simply have someone say,

“You don’t have to go through this alone.”

That no matter where you are on your journey, you deserve presence, empathy, and real support.

Meet Your B.U.D.D.Y.
We thoughtfully pair each participant with a peer support partner based on needs, preferences, and personality. Whether you’re seeking a buddy or stepping up to be one, we aim for meaningful, supportive connections.

Check-Ins
Consistency matters. B.U.D.D.Y. pairs commit to regular
check-ins by call, text, video, or in person — creating a safe space to talk, reflect, and grow together.

Courtroom Companion Support
Facing court? You don’t have to walk in alone. We offer trained, trauma-informed volunteers to stand beside you — in the waiting area, in the courtroom, and even afterward to help debrief.
